A Colorado native, Taylor grew up fishing, hiking, mountain biking, and skiing, developing a lifelong love for the outdoors. While attending the University of Colorado Boulder, he had the rare honor of being a Ralphie Handler, sprinting alongside the live buffalo mascot to lead the football team onto the field—an experience that reinforced his passion for teamwork, discipline, and high-energy environments. Before launching Dumpster Dogs, Taylor spent years in IT with General Motors and Dun & Bradstreet, honing skills in logistics, operations, and data-driven decision-making—expertise that now helps him optimize waste management solutions for large-scale construction projects. Now based in Austin, Texas, Taylor enjoys life with his wife, also named Taylor (yes, really!), and their two little girls under two. Balancing entrepreneurship and fatherhood, he values both the challenges and rewards of building a thriving business while raising a young family. In his free time, he loves traveling to family homes in Montana and Cabo, enjoying the mix of mountain adventures and beachside relaxation.
